Terms and Conditions of Booking

Reservations:

We ask for a deposit to confirm bookings, as follows:

Payment:

We can accept payment by cheque or by debit or credit card. Please note that a 1.5% handling charge is added to payments by credit card. This is not applied to payments by debit card.

Cheques should be made payable to Fairfield House.

Arrival and Departure times:

Arrive between 3.30 and 4.30pm if possible.  If that's not convenient, please contact us to arrange a suitable time. 

We ask that you vacate your room by 10.30 am on your day of departure.

Cancellations:

If you cancel a booking, I will always do my best to re-let the rooms. However, if I am unable to do so, please note that deposits are non-refundable. Where I am able to re-let the rooms, I will refund your deposit to you less an admin charge.

Damages:

Guests are responsible for any breakages or damages which they, or a member of their party, cause to the accommodation or contents.  Please report these as soon as possible (it can significantly reduce the impact of accidental spills if we are able to act quickly).
