Parking
The driveway and parking area is a level gravel covered surface.
The parking areas are located close to the entrance.
Entrance
The building is entered through a door into the conservatory. There is a stone doorstep which is level to the gravel surface. The distance from the conservatory door to the front door is 7m. There is a 17cm step up to enter through the front door.
Help with luggage is offered to all guests.
Public Areas
Bedrooms: The guest bedrooms are located on the first floor and access is via the staircase. There is level access from the entrance hall to the stairs. There are 17 steps to a landing, followed by 6 steps to the first floor.
Dining Room: Breakfast is served in the dining room which is located on the ground floor at the foot of the stairs. There is level access from the hallway into the dining room.
Bathrooms: Two of our en suites are equipped with baths with showers over and anti-slip bathmats are provided. The other two rooms have shower cubicles, one of which is equipped with a grab rail.
Garden: The garden is at the rear of the house and is on three levels. The distance from the front door to the rear conservatory door is 5m. There is garden seating provided on the terrace. There is a 12cm step down from the terrace to the next paved area. There are 6 steps down to the second level and two sets of 7 steps each down to the third level which is lawned and has gravel pathways.
Fire Alarm
In the event of a fire, the house has an audible fire alarm and emergency lighting. Notices are provided in each room which can be hung on the door knob by any guests who have hearing difficulties or require help in case of an emergency.
Allergies
Goose down pillows are provided in all our rooms, but can be substituted with synthetic pillows on request.
Special dietary requirements for breakfast can be accommodated if prior notice is given.
